Condensation Cure (Tin)

Condensation Cure or Tin Based silicone systems are popular with sculptors, hobbyist, foundries, and artist because they can be used against any type of clay without fear of inhibition.  GT Products condensation systems are extremely versatile.  Using any of the tin based premium systems you will have a mold making material with low viscosity that will allow for easy pouring as well as high strength. If you do not need a high strength system you might want to consider a standard or low cost system.  Our standard or mid-grade GT-6142 has become increasingly popular over the years.  GT-6142 is still a strong material.  This mold making material will pick up detail and have the same resiliency to urethanes and epoxies as the premium systems will have.  If you have a part that will not require a lot of hard tugging and pulling then the GT-6142 might be the material for you.  On the same note if you have a basic piece or you only need one or 2 parts you might also consider the low cost GT-6143.  This material does not have the overall strength as its counterparts but it does serve a purpose.  GT-6143 is significantly weaker than the GT-6142 or GT-5092 but will pick up detail and have the same feel.  The lower price might make this material exactly what you are looking for.  If you are looking for something a little softer than 20 Shore A then GT-5091 and GT-5090 may work for you.  If you have questions about any of the popular condensation systems that GT Products makes every day then please do not hesitate to contact us.
