Solvent Based Enhancer and Sealer for Marble
DESCRIPTION: Marble Guard is an excellent GREEN low VOC solvent based sealer formulated to protect andhighlight the character and beauty ofunsealed natural marble. It rejuvenatesthe color and improves the appearanceof worn and weathered marble. An invisible barrier is formed that resists water, grease, oil, stains, and dirt. Allows moisture-vapor transmission.
USES: Use on unsealed marble, granite, and slate. Effective for interior and exterior applications. Works on most porous architectural substrates.
COVERAGE: Coverage will varydepending on type of stone, porosityand texture of surface absorption,temperature, humidity, and method of application.
EXPECTED WEAR: Will varydepending on hardness and textureof surface, type of area, surface wear, frequency, and type of maintenance products used. Exterior applications mayrequire more frequent reapplication.Weather conditions, harsh cleaning methods, and high-alkaline, acidic, orsolvent-based cleaners will affect wear.
TEST A SMALL AREA:
according to application instructionswith a 24-hour cure time to determine desired results. Test for stain repellency using likely contaminants.Once enhanced, marble cannot be restored to original color appearance.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Caution: Use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Rubber gloves and eye protectionshould be worn during application.IF INGESTED: if person is conscious,immediately give 2 glasses of waterand induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
EYE CONTACT: Flush with water. If irritation persists, seek medicalattention. SKIN CONTACT: Wash immediately with soap and water. If irritation persists seek medical attention.INHALATION: Relocate to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medicalattention.

APPLICATION: 1.) Read entirelabel before using. 2.) Surface must beclean, dry, and free of existing sealers or coatings. 3.) Apply using a sponge, brush, and paint pad, cotton towel, or sprayer. NOTE: Be sure that anysealer that does not penetrate surfaceis polished dry off surface with in 5 minutes of application using absorbentpaper or cotton towels. 4.) If 2 or morecoats are applied, allow a minimum of30 minutes drying time between coats.
5.) Ready for surface traffic in 12 hoursafter final coat. Keep dry for 12 hours.
Achieves full cure in 48 hours, Some highly porous surfaces may require anadditional coat after full cure. 6.) Cleanapplicator tools with mineral spirits aftereach use.
LIMITATIONS: Do not allow sealer to come in contact with anynon-recommended surface as productis not completely removable. Sealers
and finishes should not be used before
or after use of Marble Guard. If Marble Guard is not WIPED COMPLETELY DRY within 5 minutes, a residue may form. If residue occurs, use a scrub brush with alcohol to remove. Keep
floor surfaces dry and clean to reduce
possibility of slip-fall accidents. Routine pressure washing will effect expected wear. Sealer will not prevent surfacewear or washing from acids or causticchemicals.
HANDLING AND STORAGE: Close container tightly after each use. Store in originalcontainer only. Store and use in temperatures between 40 and 90F (4C and 32C). Unused, stored productis freeze-thaw stable. Dispose ofresidue or any unused leftover productin accordance with applicable federal,state, and local requirements.
